Does Road Rage or Speed Kill?
Were not talking about the driver who simply drives a few miles above the posted limit! Were talking about the road rage induced drivers who show zero regard for life and safety and who frequently abuse traffic laws. Few crashes are the result of one factor. Speed-related crashes are frequently the result of criminal and/or extreme anti-social behavior or are related to road conditions and can even occur below the posted speed limit.
We don't advocate that ALL speeding is unsafe, only that education and a proactive approach is necessary to make our roadways safer. What is a safe speed? Within the 85th percentile. The state of Texas posts it's speeds within this reasonable and safe zone.

*We are not discounting the hard work that Police officers do and we sincerely understand the limited resources available to many cities and counties for traffic enforcement. We'd much rather have them getting the violent offender off the street first.
